With everything that has gone on in our world throughout this past year and dealing with all of the unknown's, it has been hard for adults to handle these things, and even harder for all of the little people in our lives. As parents, one thing that we encourage you to do is to increase the amounts of mindfulness and social-emotional conversations between your child and yourself. Having these conversations with your child will help your child's well-being, as well as create a more positive climate at home. We encourage everyone to participate in this social emotional bingo card- if your child completes at least 8 of the squares and brings it back to Ms. Wheeling or Mrs. Ratcliffe, your child will receive a golden ticket!

Governor Burgum will allow the mask mandate to expire at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 18. Divide County School District will return to the mask requirements that were in place prior to the statewide mask mandate. Masks will be required at school when social distancing is not possible, upon entering & exiting the building, in hallways, on the bus, and after eating while in the lunchroom.

Boys Basketball game for today, Jan. 14th at White Shield is postponed until Feb. 2, time TBD. Girls basketball today at Lignite still on for now, we will make a decision for sure by lunch time.

Due to the current weather situation, Divide County School District will have a 10:00 start time today, January 14, 2021. Buses will run where possible. Stay tuned for further updates as needed.

DCE 5th Grade had an Elf Leg Drawing Contest. The student body voted on their favorites. Here are the winners: Brayden Larson- 1st place Chaos Bays - 2nd place Cooper Nelson - 3rd place Congratulations to the winners and great job to everyone!

DC Fans We are having trouble with our Pixellot System which is the NFHS Network System we are using to stream our home games. We have sent numerous messages to the company and are working on this problem. This system has been installed by 1,000's of school across the United States this year. We are working diligently to resolve the problem, we ask for your patience. Thanks Kent Harding- DC AD

Tues. Dec. 22, 2020 Girls and Boys Basketball at DC Beach High School @ DC JV GBB @ 4:00 V GBB @ 5:30 V BBB @ 7:00 Once again, we give our athletes 6 tickets each. These tickets are suppose to be given out to our players immediate family. Tickets which are not used by players should be returned to AD-Kent Harding. Example: We have 14 girls and 11 boys on our JV and V. (25 players x 6 tickets = 150) We can have 225 home fans in our gym. This now allows 75 of our homes fans to pay admission and watch the games. Out of the 150 tickets we give our players if 50 are not used this allows another 50 home fans to pay admission and come watch our games. If you have questions please call the High School and ask for Athletic Director Kent Harding.

Girls Basketball today, Dec. 19th. Minot High JV at Divide County High School. JV 4:30 V 6:00 Pay admission at the door, we can have up to 300 fans for todays home game. First come first serve at the door up to 300. You do not need a ticket to get in we will count fans up to 300. Should be plenty of room for fans. Masks required at all times in our facility.
