The state track meet begins at 3:30 today at the Community Bowl in Bismarck. Ben Johnson will be participating in the long jump (3:30 pm) and Jurnee Werhman in the 3200 run (5:30 pm) this afternoon. The DC Track & Field team rolled into Minot yesterday for the Regional Track Meet. DC brought 28 athletes, who all came to compete! There were many PR's, placers, and a couple more events added to the state qualifying list. Here were the athletes/relays who placed in the top 8 and earned all region honors:

Mrs Ator's 3rd graders spent a week of learning at Camp Learned A Lot. They performed a readers theater for reading class, wrote letters to next year's teachers and created funny mad libs. Math activities included paper airplanes and variables, fishing for fractions. Other favorites of the week were making lava lamps, cleaning our desks by making bubbles and making s'mores.
DC Track & Field - Parents, Athletes, & Friends! The North West Region track meet has been moved up to tomorrow (Friday) due to projected poor weather conditions on Saturday. The field events will start at 3:30 PM and track events at 4:00 PM. The DC Team will depart at 11:45 AM tomorrow (Friday). The track meet will still be held in Minot at Duane Carlson Stadium.
Attention! The DCHS Awards program tomorrow May 17th has been rescheduled for 9am due to date change for Regional track meet. The program will be held in the Kirchhofer Auditorium at the high school.

Ben Johnson had an awesome day in Rugby! He qualified for the State Track Meet in Long Jump! He did this with a booming jump of 20' 10 1/2". Way to go, Ben!!

Attention all DCHS students and families. Attached you will find our semester test schedule for grades 7-11. It is important that your student is in school these last three days. Please do not call and excuse your student when they are done with their final. There are scheduled turn-in and cleaning times listed. Early check-outs will not be allowed. School will dismiss at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22! Thank you for the great school year and supporting your child in their education and extra-curricular activities.
Mrs. Ator's 3rd graders practiced their multiplication facts today by playing the old-school game battle ship. The students created their game boards on a multiplication chart. They asked their partner a multiplication question to try and sink their battleships.
DC Softball Game: Thur. May 9th Softball Game, Tioga @ DC has been postponed because of wet fields. This game will now be played on Tues. May 14th @ Ray. DC v. Tioga @ 3:00 PM @ Ray, Ray v. Tioga @ 5:00 PM. We are playing this game in Ray because Tioga needs to play DC and Ray. May 14 is the last day to complete regional games.

Hello everyone! Happy Monday! Coach Burtman and Coach Pulvermacher had a quick meeting with girls who will be entering grades 7-12 in the fall 2024 who are interested in joining volleyball. A VERY important thing that all girls and parents need to do is to join the Stack Team App right away if you have not joined yet and enable notifications. This is our main communication method between coaches, parents, and players and there is important information that is and will be posted about summer camp and weight/agility sessions. It is crucial for each player and parent to have this app for up-to-date information.
Coach Burtman NEEDS to know ASAP who is going to the team camp and individual camp in Watford City July 9-12. More explanation is on the team app. I have attached an instruction sheet on how to get connected on the Divide Co Maroons Volleyball side of the team app. For those who were in travel vb, this is just another team on the same app you use for travel.
