Today is the end of the first quarter. And a reminder that Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for the high school on Oct. 28 and 29 from 4:00 to 7:30.
Flu shot forms were given to all students today at DCHS. Shots will be distributed to anyone with a completed form next Wednesday on the 23rd. There are extra forms in the office.
Students participated in "Hear the Crunch" sponsored by DC extension office. Special thanks to Jason's Super Foods for donating over 200 apple's to our students and staff.
3rd Graders played a rounding game called Cake Walk Rounding to review how to round to the nearest 10 and 100. What a great time!

Volleyball NWC Tournament scheduled for Sat Oct 12 has been postponed until next Sat Oct 19th
JV Volleyball at ORCS for Sat Oct 12th has been cancelled due to weather.
The junior high football game scheduled for Monday, October 14 will still be at 5:00 PM, however the location has been changed to Plentywood, MT. Bus will leave at 2:45 on Monday.
Punt, pass and kick is postponed from Oct 11th until Wednesday Oct. 16th starting at 4:00 PM at the football field.
On Friday, October 11, due to cold weather, the coronation ceremony will be moved into the DCHS Auditorium following the football game instead of on the football field. GO DC!

Congratulations to Charles Verlinde on passing Addition in the Xtra math program last month. Charles demonstrated mastery of the addition table by answering all Addition facts in under 3 seconds! Way to go Charles! (He also happens to be dressed up as R.L. Stein today and he wanted to make sure he was in full costume for his picture! 😁)
