Congratulations to Charles Verlinde on passing Addition in the Xtra math program last month. Charles demonstrated mastery of the addition table by answering all Addition facts in under 3 seconds! Way to go Charles! (He also happens to be dressed up as R.L. Stein today and he wanted to make sure he was in full costume for his picture! 😁)

We celebrated student accomplishments at the DCE Student Assembly last Friday. Each month, we recognize birthdays, Students of the Month, Golden Ticket Students, DCE Clean Team, focus on a character trait, and more! This month featured our 6th Grade Band - they rocked it!
Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 JH and JV FB games for today scheduled at 5:00 in Ray have been moved to Powers Lake due to wet fields.
The 6th grade volleyball team will now have a game on Tuesday Oct. 8th in Powers Lake. They will play immediately following the 4:00 PM 5th grade game, approximately 4:30 PM.
Due to extremely wet field conditions there will be No Mini Maroons football today October 5th.
Divide County FFA students traveled to Stanley on October 3rd to compete in District Leadership Contests. Quiz team of Cashlyn (3), Windy (5), Megan (6), Tucker (10), and Alissa (24) received 2nd place in the district. Greenhand quiz placed 9th. Billi placed 9th in Creed speaking

DC Schools would like to thank members of the Upper Missouri District Health, including Divide County Public Health Nurse Juliet Artman, for coming to school yesterday to speak to the student body (Grades 5-12) about the dangers of tobacco use including e-cigarettes or "vaps."
Come out tonight and support the Elementary Volleyball team in their home opener against the MonDak Thunder. The 5th Grade game starts at 5:00 P.M. followed by the 6th Grade game.
